Production Assistant on Unzipped and her new tattoo

The cup and the star was a reference to a tarot card – I think. Wonder if she regrets it now…

Covent Garden Sainsbury's

Covent Garden, lunchtime

By this time into my contract with Rapido the pressure must have been easing off a little as I seem to be getting out of the office most lunchtimes. Covent Garden was somewhere that seemed very special before I moved to London, I went there for my thirteenth birthday treat and loved wandering around the shops and the market. These days, in its modern transformation it seems like one of the duller places. And the old curmudgeon that I am I find the entertainers rather annoying – they clog up the streets and the human statues are the worst!

Picadilly Circus, Lunchtime

I’ve never actually been on a London tourist bus, and I definitely should.

RT Undressing Curly Robb

Rob Turnock Undressing

I guess he wouldn’t thank me for this one. I wonder what ever happened to the cactus clock (just seen behind RT on the top of the bookcase)

VR on the telephone Dexter Robb, show tunes

VR on the telephone

This is not the first picture on this collection of VR on the phone, and I don’t think it’s the last. This was taken in our kitchen at the flat on Finchley road. Vikki is drinking lager bought at the Deli (sadly now gone) from across the road.

Market Stall Lions, Cricklewood

Market Stall, somewhere

Judging by the caption to this picture I probably couldn’t remember where I’d taken the picture by the time I’d sent off the film and had it returned to me. It could have been Portobello, Islington, Camden…

Models’ Shoes, Fashion Unzipped

The girl with the dark hair on the right is Lenka Thynn. She worked on ‘Fashion Unzipped’ at Rapido and in this picture she and her colleague are trying on some of the strappy sandals that had been borrowed from a posh shoe shop for a model shoot. Lenka is the daughter of the Marquis of Bath, very beautiful and quite home in a pair of Model Shoes.
