Flats, Camden Town
I’ve only just noticed the contrast between this block of flats and the one from the previous day’s photo. These are grim to say the least. All that concrete makes me feel depressed now when I look at it, much more than it would have done ten years ago when I took the picture.

Flats, Belsize Park
I passed this building on my home from work from camden. It had great art deco lines. England’s Lane was where Patsy Kensit and Liam Gallagher set up home a few year’s earlier at the height of ‘Brit Pop’, It was also the setting of a rather strange novel I’ve read since then.

Ruined church, Hampstead
This church is at a crossroads in Hampstead and has been empty for as long as I've been living in London. The church on the opposite side of the crossroad has been renovated and turned into music studios. No such luck for this building the fate of which is often discussed and debated on the notice board outside. I like it best in the winter when it opens as a temporary christmas tree shop.

McDonald's, Swiss Cottage
Looking at this picture ten years after I took it I’ve only just realized that the little dog in the red shopping cart perfectly mirrors the picture of Snoopy just above him in the restaurant window. It seems ironic that McDonald's were running a Snoopy promotion but real ‘snoopies’ had to wait outside.

Countryside from train heading back to London
I like the motion blur in this picture and the way the fields of rape look fluffy and soft.

Railway viaduct, Leeds
I went up to Leeds with RT as he was planning to study here the following autumn. I ended up living in Leeds myself a couple of years later when I worked for Yorkshire TV. I really liked the city, especially the bits of it that looked like this, oh and of course Harvey Nichols!

Mrs Rodden and Chris Rodden
This picture was taken in the upstairs room or a Soho pub, a popular choice of birthday drinks location for Chris and Dave Bradbury. On this occasion Chris’ Mum came along to help him celebrate. She was a vivacious and glamorous lady.
