Chilling out after Baby sign-language class

Missing!

Well, we got there in the end – Coming up are the lost days – the film that Tripleprint lost. I have no idea what I was doing during this period – but when I have time I’ll update these days in another way.

Empty House, Finchley Road Party in Queens’ Park

Empty House, Finchley Road

I developed a little bit of an obsession on Finchley Road while I lived there. I became fascinated by its history, and its role as one of the main tributaries into the capital. I used to look out of my window at the traffic surging past –particularly the coaches bringing people from other cities to Victoria Coach Station. There were a lot of grand houses lining the road, but many of them had become run down and abandoned over the years, which also fascinated me as there is something compelling about a long-empty house.

Spitalfields Archeological dig. E1

All this part of the market is gone now, replaced by a swooping glass roof and a lot of paving slabs.

Teddies in car rear window, NW3

You have to wonder what the person who owned this car was like. I still can’t drive – though I did take a test this year (see September the 1st!) and the thought of someone with as much driving confidence as the owner of this car makes me green with envy.

Restaurant near Portobello Road, W10

I was hanging out in this area a lot back in 1999, I don’t remember which restaurant this was - but I was obviously impressed by the range of bottles on offer.
